Pricing & Plans
Tip Top Jar has a one-time setup fee and optional paid plans for extra features.
You can view the full breakdown on our pricing page. Like most online payment platforms, payment processing fees may apply when tips are made. By default, tippers cover this fee at checkout so it is not taken out of their intended tip.
The one-time setup fee helps get your tip jar ready. It covers identity verification, payout setup, username reservation, and creating your tip page.
You pay it once when you enroll. It is not a recurring monthly charge.
The person leaving the tip covers the per-tip fee on top of the tip amount, so it is not taken out of their intended tip.
If you'd rather cover the fee yourself, you can enable that in your tip jar settings.
Yes. You can change your plan from your dashboard settings at any time.
Upgrades start right away. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
Your tip jar stays live, and anyone with your link can still tip you.
When your paid plan ends, your account moves back to Basic, with Basic payout timing and per-tip fee rules.
Tip Top Jar offers refunds on annual plans for any remaining unused months.
One-time setup fees are not refundable, since verification, payout setup, username reservation, and tip page setup begin when you enroll.
Payments & Payouts
Tip Top Jar supports multiple currencies, including USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, NZD, SGD, MXN, BRL, HKD, MYR, and SEK.
We plan to add more currencies over time.
Supporters can tip using supported payment methods such as credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Venmo, and more.
Availability can depend on the supporter's location, payment method, currency, and device.
Yes. Tip Top Jar supports international tipping in supported regions, making it easier for supporters in different parts of the world to send tips.

Tip Top Jar sends payouts to PayPal by default. PayPal requires a PayPal Business account to receive payouts.
Registered businesses in the US and Canada can also add ACH bank account payouts if they want tips sent directly to a verified business bank account. This is available as an optional add-on.

Your Dashboard & Data
When you receive a tip, you can view tip details such as the tipper's name, email address, amount, currency, location when available, message, and more.
This information is private to your account and can be viewed from your dashboard.
You can export your tip data when your plan includes exports.
Exports can help with reporting, bookkeeping, tracking campaigns, or reviewing tipping activity over time.
Tip Top Jar protects data using SSL/TLS encryption.
Your tips and tipper information are only visible to you inside your account. We continue to improve our security practices to help keep your account, tip data, and supporter information safe.
Support
Tip Top Jar users can contact support from the chat widget in their dashboard. New customers can chat with us from the bottom right of the website. If the chat widget does not appear, make sure pop-up blockers are turned off.
